Weekly Winter Classes
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9-3

Would your child benefit from a day of forest school each week? We have students from Academy School, Putney Central, Guilford Central and other local elementary schools. These students come weekly for a day of forest school, with the full cooperation of their public school teachers. Vermont is unusual in allowing this option for public-school students.

We also serve the homeschooling community. Children who do not attend regular school come for up to two days/week.

Winter Session: 10 weeks from 1/7/25 through 3/21/25
(We are closed the week of February 17-21.)

9am - 3pm / Tuesdays and Thursdays
Lunch and snack are included.

Cost for Winter session:
$700 / student / one day
$1375 / student /  two days

(Spring sessions will be 10 weeks, beginning 4/1/25.)

Sample Daily Schedule

8:50 - 9:10 drop off
9 am campfire and gathering time; snacks are cooked over the fire
Nature-based theme of the day
10 am walk and tracking
11:30 Lunch in our heated yurt
12 -2 reading, games and rest in the yurt
2 - 3 sledding, snow play and crafts
3 pm pickup
